Wow! That's a lot of different brands and different products that are being used during this month's glam bag. So you have the chance of getting a product from 5 different brands from that whole bunch! Ensuring that your glam bag is fit for you. Now I'm going to be sharing you the products I got and my thoughts on them.
The first product that I got was Temptu's Warm Glow Bronzer. The bronzer illuminates the skin to give it a dewy and glowy finish. The product was easy to blend, while a little does go a long way. For my skin tone, I find that it really helps to enhance my skin only because it almost matches my skin tone. It was fun to wear and it made me feel like a bronzed goddess.
The next product I got was Marc Anthony's Nourishing Argan Oil 3 day smooth blow dry cream. I don't normally blow dry my hair unless I go to a salon, so this was a product I wasn't too excited about trying. My hair is curly and thick, so just blow drying it wouldn't be enough to get it nice and straight. This would be something my mom could use but it wasn't for me, although the reviews are decent.
The next product I got was NYX's Liquid Suede lipstick in the shade Kitten Heels. At first I was skeptical to try this because I went out and bought one of the shades on my own. It was the purple shade and I didn't really like the texture of it. It was a little too sticky for me and it didn't dry well. When I tried this shade however, the formula was different. It was still a little bit sticky but not as much as the purple shade. It actually felt better when applying too and lasted quite a long time.
The next product that I got was Ofra's Green Go eyeliner. The shade is like a light olive with gold shimmer in it. The product is creamy and smooth to apply. It's nice to apply on it's own but using a matte olive eyeshadow as a base, makes it pop even more. This color isn't too great for the water line because it doesn't come up as pigmented as it does on the skin. You get more of a shimmer so it would be nice if you wanted your eyes to sparkle a bit. When you apply it to the water line, the green will be next to invisible. However, you can make it pop even more by also applying the pencil on the low lash line closer to the water line to give even more of a golden glow feel. When applied on top of shadow, the pencil lasts very well. Especially on the lower lash line.
The last product I got was Beau Gachis Paris's eyeshadow brush. I've tried a lot of eyeshadow brushes and the feel of the bristles on this one is so amazing. The hold of the handle fits my hand perfectly well as I do have smaller hands. It applies product very well as well and I think it's great quality.
Now I'm going to show you swatches of the colored products and a look that I created using this bag. I used this makeup for my birthday look and I loved it so much! It was so much fun to create and although the footage didn't come out well, I had a fun time putting this all together.
Overall, I loved this month and the products I got to try except the blow dry cream. Other than that, everything else was great in my opinion. At first I was scared to try out the lipstick because it swatched so bright, but I love the color so much! It's one of those reds that you can play around with and have fun. It was nice that I also got a couple of full sized products as well! Definitely a plus. It you like this post and my other posts, make sure to subscribe to my newsletter on the bottom of my blog!
